BounceU in Kennesaw: Frequently Asked Questions

BounceU events and policies are designed to make things as easy as possible on you. We understand that you might need a few clarifications about our parties and facilities, so we've compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions and their answers.

What do I get for the price of the base party package?
BounceU promises to deliver a party which consists of two large play rooms filled with several inflatable games and one party room furnished with seating, in which our full-service staff will help you host a private party. All our parties come with one (1) complimentary crown, as well as purple/ red/ clear paper products, i.e. plates, napkins, utensils, cups. If you do not use or receive these complimentary items during the party, we can neither give refund nor give any such items to you at a later date. Each package also includes paper invitations or evites and 1 souvenir from the BounceU treasure chest. Additional treasure chest items may be purchased for more than 1 birthday child.

How much should I budget for the party?
Your total party cost will be based on following four main components:
(1) FUN, covered by the base party package price that admits a certain number of bouncers;
(2) ADD-ONS, i.e. food, drink, cake, favors, balloons, etc. as ordered by you. Other add-ons could be charges for any extra bouncers, extra time, etc.;
(3) SALES TAX, which is levied by the State of Georgia; and
(4) GRATUITY (average 10%), which goes to your party staff for their full-service assistance.

When do we pay the balance of the party?
Payment for your party is due at the end of your event. BounceU accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We do not accept checks. he check-out process includes the review of your receipt showing all charges and payments, followed by settling the balance along with any gratuity. If you plan to redeem any qualified promotional offer—e.g., coupon, gift certificate, or discretionary booking discount--ONLY ONE DISCOUNT CAN BE APPLIED per event. Copies of all offers must be provided at the time of check. After we have applied payment to your event we are not able to go back and add coupons/ discounts. Note that for card transactions voided transactions may be held by your bank, but usually clears out within couple days.

Can I change the package I booked?
We are unable to downgrade the package once a deposit has been paced. We recommend that you select the package most suitable for expected turnout. Our experience suggests that not everyone invited shows up, and so underestimating is one option. You can always upgrade the package but this must be don’t at least 24 hours prior to your event to ensure proper staffing. On packages that have a limit to the number of additional kids, once you exceed that limit you will be automatically upgraded into the larger package. We are not responsible for low guest turnout, we cannot provide any refund in such cases.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule the party?
Your deposit is non-refundable 30 days prior to your event(sorry, no exceptions). If you cancel or reschedule your party within the 1 window of your party date, you will be responsible for paying a $50 rebooking fee. Your event must be rescheduled within 4 months of the original date.

Is there an age limit?
BounceU is suitable for walking children and adults! Children under 2 years should be accompanied by an adult since the equipment is quite big.  We do encourage adults to participate in the bounce rooms.  They tend to have as much, or even more, fun than the kids.

Are socks required for adults?
For guests’ safety and enjoyment, socks are required for EVERYONE (yes adults too) who plans to play.

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
We ask that you and your guests arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled party start time, to allow ample time for checking in and viewing the orientation video designed to maximize your enjoyment and safety.

If we arrive late, would we still have the same amount of event time?
As much as we’re committed to maximizing your enjoyment, each private event has a fixed duration. We usually have back-to-back parties. Even if a party starts late, it needs to end on time, so the next parties can start on time.

Can we have the bounce room longer than the time included in the package?
The included bounce time is usually plenty for kids. It’s like putting kids on a treadmill for an hour without stopping.  They are usually hungry and thirsty after that.  However, more time can be added at extra cost, based on room availability.

Can we have the party room longer than the time included in the package?
While time in the party room can go fast, our trained party hosts do an excellent job of making the celebration fit the allowed time.  Party room activities can be broken down into three primary segments: enjoyment of any food/drinks ordered, cutting and eating cake or other desserts, and finally opening gifts. Some parents choose to take unopened gifts home so that the birthday child can enjoy their meal and friends at BounceU, then open presents leisurely at home. Although we generally recommend about 10-15 minutes per segment, our full-service staff will make appropriate adjustments as needed and help you enjoy every moment while keeping you on time. If you are bringing a very large group, more time can be added at extra cost, based on room availability.

Can we re-enter the bounce room after spending some time in the party room?
We often have parties going on simultaneously in each room. When one party moves from the bounce rooms to the party room, another party usually enters the bounce room for their private event. So, guests may not re-enter the bounce room from the party room.


Can we start the party in the party room?
Because we’ve found that full tummies and bouncing don’t mix, our parties begin in the bounce rooms and then move to the party room where it ends.

Can I bring in my own decorations?
Please limit any other decorations to table décor (i.e., no wall or ceiling decorations). Note that when you arrive, your party room will be occupied by another group who just moved out the bounce rooms where you will get started. Decorations can be put up and taken down only during the short 10 min between parties while our staff perform routine cleanup and preparation. We ask that you purchase balloons from us. Our prices are competitive and we offer a great selection of balloons to enhance your event. If you have balloons that need to be inflated we can take care of that for your at our facility for a minimal charge.

What options do you offer for invitations?
We strongly recommend use of free online e-vites to invite your guests and to track RSVPs most efficiently. Or, you can use our high-quality invitation cards. Invitations may be picked up from the store. If you decide on the latter please call ahead for store hours. If you plan to use non-BounceU invitations, please include accurate map and driving directions from our website.

Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
Although you are welcome to bring in your own cake, we do not allow other outside food/drink due to potential allergies to children. Although we do not prepare any food on the premises, we do have an extensive menu of kid and adult foods from reputable vendors. Because we have to submit food orders in bulk days ahead of your party, generally we are unable to cancel or change orders placed with the vendor. Thus, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT FOR ALL FOOD THAT YOU ORDER. Because all ordered food belongs to you, you can take home any that is not opened or consumed.

What if I can get food/ drinks cheaper on my own?
Our prices are fully disclosed on our website so you can be fully informed before ordering. As a full-service party business, we set our food/drink prices to reflect pickup/delivery/handling and, most importantly, timeliness. All our drink products are priced competitively compared to similar entertainment venues or restaurants. While juice boxes, coke product and water bottles are sold per unit, with our Spectac-U-lar package, Coke product drinks (incl. non-carbonated options) are PRICED PER PERSON (with unlimited refill) based on actual consumption: we take a final count at the end of your party. If more than 25 people consume beverages are consumed $99 per person will be charged for each additional person.

Can I order extra pizza or other delivered food once my party has begun?
We order food the day before your party, as we do not have much time during the hectic weekend.  We do not maintain extras of all foods on the BounceU premises. While we will try to order extra food from Papa John’s, we cannot guarantee that they will be able to provide extras at the last minute, as they are also handling orders from residential customers around the area.

Can I take home “leftover” 2-L drink bottles?
For hygiene and efficiency, BounceU uses bottled drinks to refill your cups, instead of soda dispensers as used elsewhere. If you have purchased a party package with unlimted drinks we'd be happy to refill your drink as much as you can consume while in the party room; unused drinks in bottles belong to and hence remain at BounceU. If you have a party package where you have purchased 2 liter, you may take the remaining drinks home with you.

Will you help manage the birthday gifts?
For your convenience we will provide a gift bucket, which we will carry from the lobby and to the party room and finally to your vehicle. Like your personal belongings, WATCHING YOUR GIFTS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, because it is impractical for BounceU staff to watch them while performing many other duties, incl. watching the children, to deliver a great party.

What if the party is not going the way I expected?
Every BounceU staff is trained to deliver a great party and does so week after week for many customers. They follow operational guidelines to assure maximum fun and safety, due to the active fun nature of our facility. Because there are so many components to a great party, please do not hesitate to bring any issues to our attention immediately. Knowing it sooner than later would give us a chance to rectify it and deliver a great party, which is our ultimate goal.
