FAQs – General

Is there an age limit?
BounceU is suitable for ages 2 to adult. Non-walkers and young toddlers are NOT recommended to go on the equipment since it is quite big. We do encourage adults to participate in the bounce rooms. They tend to have as much, or even more, fun than the kids.


Can we just come in and play?
Absolutely! Please see our Open Bounce page for more information. We have regularly scheduled sessions each week. Weekend sessions are based on availability. And during school holidays, we will add more Open Bounce sessions. Please call for details or check our Events Calendar for the up-to-the-minute schedule.


How do I schedule a BounceU party?
It's easy! Just give us a call and we will be happy to reserve your special day and time! For your convenience, you can also request a date online or via email (collegepoint.ny@bounceu.com) and our party consultant will call you within 12 hours during normal weekday business hours. BounceU is a very popular destination, so it is recommended that you make your reservation 3-6 months in advance to guarantee your first choice of date and time.


Is a deposit required?
A $100 deposit is required to reserve your party. You may pay over the phone with a credit or debit card. The deposit is applied to the party price and fully refundable if cancelled 4 weeks before the event date.


Do I have to know my head count and other options when I reserve my party?
No. We will call you about 3-5 days before your scheduled party date to confirm your head count. You can place an order for food and other add-ons at that time.


Who do you count as party participants?
For children’s parties, anyone who is 2 - 17 years old is counted as a party participant. Parents and children under the age of 2 are free and therefore, are not included in the count of participants.


How do I get invitations for my party?
You can pick up your invitations along with other party information at BounceU. Please call first before you come as our hours of operation vary. If you would like, your invitations can also be mailed to you. There is now also an Evite option, to send invites via email.


Is each guest, including adults, required to have a completed/signed wiaver?
For insurance purposes, all guests must have a waiver completed and signed by a parent/guardian each time they come to BounceU. For your convenience, we include our waiver in our birthday invitation. Additional waivers are available at the front desk and on our website.


When should I order pizza, beverages, goodie bags, balloons, & other options?
We will call you 3-5 days prior to your party to confirm your guest count. At that time, you will have an opportunity to order pizza, beverages, goodie bags, balloons, and other party options. NOTE: Your cake order needs to be submitted at least 48 hours prior to your party.


Can I order extra pizza or other food once my party has begun?
Additional pizzas can be added within the first 15 minutes of your event. After that time frame, your order must remain the same. All other food orders must be submitted at least 2 days prior to your party and cannot be adjusted.


How many slices are in a pizza and how much are they?
There are 10 slices in our large 18” pizza. The cost is $19.99 per pie.


Can I bring in my own food and drinks?
You are welcome to bring in your own cake .We are sorry, but no other outside food or drink is permitted.


If I am bringing in my own cake, do I need to bring in my own plates and napkins?
We are happy to provide paper goods for your party!


I don’t want to serve a full meal; can I bring in my own snacks?
There are many snack food options to choose from. Please give us a call if you’d like more information. But please do not bring in food other than your party cake.


Can I bring my own goodie bags and/or balloons?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own goodie bags and balloons. But we do recommend that you to check out our party favor options. We offer variety of fun and cool party favors at a reasonable price!


Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party room?
You are welcome to use your own decorations and/or paper products in the party room. However, to preserve the integrity of our party rooms, we do not permit wall or ceiling decorations, streamers, silly string, and confetti. Piñatas are permitted as long as they are PULL-STRING ONLY!!


What happens if my guests or I arrive late? Can I get a time extension?
Unfortunately we cannot extend your party time when you or your guests arrive late. We host back-to-back parties every day and staying on-schedule is critical to our guest satisfaction and operations. We recommend you inform your guests to arrive about 15-20 minutes before the party start time for check-in.


If less than 15 kids attend my party, does the price decrease?
Unfortunately, the package price includes up to 15 participants, so the price would remain the same.


What if I estimated that I would have more than 15 kids and fewer show up? Do I still have to pay the $18.99 per additional child?
No. BounceU only charges for the extra bouncers that attend your event. However, you will be responsible for any additional food that was ordered in preparation of your estimated party size.


Can we play for longer than an hour and 15 minutes?
Based on our party scheduling, we cannot offer an extended stay in the bounce rooms. However, you may reserve 2 party slots for an additional 40 minutes of playtime at the regular party rate.


What if I need to reschedule or cancel my party?
We require at least 4 weeks advance notice prior to your scheduled event. If you’d like to reschedule, the new date and time is subject to availability. If you’d like to cancel, your deposit can be refunded. However, if it is less than 4 weeks prior to your scheduled event, the deposit will be forfeited.


Can I change the party I have booked to a different party package?
If we have the slot available, we will accommodate you to upgrade to a larger package up to 3 days prior to your party. However we require at least 2 weeks advance notice if you need to change to smaller party package. NOTE: Changing the date or the time of your party will be considered rescheduling and is subject to the 4 weeks advance notice requirement mentioned in the previous question.
